Each of us has our own traditions in birthday celebrating. Someone prefers to spend this day with family. Someone likes loud parties in the most famous clubs in the world. My birthday always becomes a holiday not only for me but also for my friends and relatives. It has become an important tradition to celebrate in a girl’s company. Every year the celebration becomes brighter and brighter. Everyone who has been to my party will definitely remember this day for a lifetime as the memories are so vivid and memorable. The year before last I celebrated in Odessa. Last year I had a birthday party in Moscow. However, I realized that I prefer to celebrate by the water, by the sea. Such a format is really about me. That’s why this year I chose Bodrum for my birthday celebrations.

I love the whole of Turkey, but Bodrum is something special. A gorgeous climate, stunning sea, not hot, no strong humidity — sounds like a real fantasy for a vacation in July and August. The nature in Bodrum is rich and interesting: the terrain is mountainous, there are many coniferous and cypress forests, few palm trees. Bodrum reminds me of a little Greece. This city is really liked by those who prefer the European format of recreation.

I celebrated my birthday at the Lujo Hotel. This is a gorgeous new hotel in a minimalistic style with high-level service. Its own kilometer-long beach deserves special attention: fine white sand, which does not burn your feet at all, was specially delivered for it from the Maldives. Therefore, the atmosphere of Lujo is reminiscent of a real Maldivian paradise. I definitely wanted to be in such a heavenly place on my birthday.

I am a gourmet and really like to eat tasty and high-quality food. Bodrum pleases even in this area. There are world-class restaurants here. Located on the shores of the Aegean Sea, Zuma Restaurant serves modern Japanese cuisine that is authentic but not traditional — and intrigues even the most discerning palate. Nusr-Et Steakhouse will delight and surprise lovers of meat delicacies with a wide selection of different meat dishes: from steaks and grilled meat to juicy cutlets from the best meat. And restaurateur Arkady Novikov’s Novikov Bodrum, which opened this year, is the perfect combination of Pan-Asian cuisine with fresh seafood from around the world, a sunny interior, and a unique location in the famous luxurious port of Yalikavak.

I will share one more recommendation: I advise you to take a yacht and go for a walk along the sea and bays. This is the first thing to do in Bodrum. Impressions will be beyond any words.
