The 2021 BRIT Awards

The 2021 Brit Awards is an extra special one this year, being one of the first major in-person events to be taking place since the pandemic took hold of the UK.

The event will see 4,000 people in attendance with no social distancing or masks required (with attendees instead taking tests before and after the event). The awards ceremony has been chosen to be part of the government’s Events Research Programme, which will evaluate how venues can restart large events and welcome crowds back safely this summer. This makes the Brits one of the first in-person award ceremonies to take place without any virtual element to it at all – and will see performances from some big names, including Coldplay and The Weeknd.
