As the first global initiative to highlight the sky-rocketing power of influencers, we invite you to join the World Influencers and Bloggers Association (WIBA) to make your voice heard even more. We are attaching a presentation depicting our goals and agenda for your attention.

As part of our mission, WIBA calls on you to join an important social challenge.

February 20, 2020, is the World Day of Social Justice. It is launched by the United Nations to help to remove barriers that people face because of gender, age, race, ethnicity, religion, culture, or disability.

We believe that your voice as an influencer will amplify the message and inspire millions of people to address many cases of injustice encountered by many in daily life.

What we ask you to do:

We urge you to use your creative potential, as extensively seen in your social networking activity. Here are some tips and themes that you can use:

  • You can share our banner in your stories or in a post (please see attached) with the following hashtags and text:

Today we observe the World Day of Social Justice. Let’s take an action to remove barriers that people face because of gender, age, race, ethnicity, religion, culture or disability #WIBASocialJustice, #WorldBloggersAwards, #SocialJusticeDay

Or

  • Make your own story or a post. Here are some tips and relevant themes:

Helping People in Need

Make a video or photo about helping poor, unemployed, orphaned children, refugees. You may offer a meal, clothes, or employment opportunity to adults (like help in your household, with your car, your pet, just use your imagination).

Celebrating Diversities

Many of us live in diverse communities and work in diverse environments. Show an image or tell a story about such a tremendous experience.

Make a photo with your friends, neighbors, or co-workers who represent different ethnicities and comment on the beauty of such diversity and say NO to intolerance on the grounds of race or ethnicity.

Addressing Age Inequality

Did you know about discrimination and prejudices on the grounds of age? It is often related to treatment and opportunities at work but can also occur in other social environments. But what can you do to flag this problem if you are not an employer and can’t tangibly demonstrate a non-discrimination?

You can help elderly people to master new skills which are often associated with those representing a younger generation. Like technologies or, social networking! An image of your grandparent ordering an Uber or posting on Instagram or –  you name it – would be super cool!

Helping People with Disabilities

Tell a story about helping a person with a disability to become more integrated into a community or work environment. Or if you know someone with special needs record a video and take a photo commenting on their strong and beautiful sides – talents, skills, will power, stamina. Help them and others to believe in them!

Promoting Gender Equality

Tell a story about women empowerment. It can be an incredible story about someone you know and feel inspired by.

Join and share this Social Justice Challenge among your followers and friends!
